Bones Below

I hear people talk about the titanic
To think about the death makes me sick
I can’t help thinking of those that traveled
Their lives suddenly unraveled

She lies at the bottom of the ocean deep
Those who were alive now sleep
They have gone to eternity
A place truly grand, not empty

A once grand ship, the Titanic was
“Unsinkable” was the buzz
Even when they were sinking low
To the depths below

Mistakes were made, that was true
But what can we do?
Now it’s time to leave them alone
Now in God’s hands, they can rest their bones
